About Me


Hey everyone, and welcome to my page! My name is Amanda James, but many people may still remember me as Amanda Corry. I am a twenty-three year old FSU graduate and Air Force wife to my husband, Stephen! I am a former Pre-K teacher and love curling up to a good book. I have struggled with keeping health and fitness a priority, suffering from yo-yoing between weight loss and gain since I was in early high school. When Stephen and I started dating, we were long distance while he was stationed at his base and I was still in college. We would mainly focus on eating horrible meals and being lazy when we were together on the weekends, and it was extremely hard to separate those tendencies when we eventually moved in together over a year later. I hit rock bottom when he left for his most recent deployment to Afghanistan this past February 2014, and I decided the day he left that he was going to come back to a whole new, lean and mean woman!






I had first heard of a Beachbody Bombshell Fitness Challenge group shortly before Stephen deployed for the first time. My prior English teacher, and now one of my closest friends, was a Beachbody coach and getting in incredible shape from a fitness program called Chalean Extreme! I loved the idea of getting in amazing shape from my house, because I was NOT wanting to exercise around people at the local gym. I dove right in and joined my first challenge group doing TurboFire and replacing a meal with Shakeology every day. At the end of the almost 3 month mark, I was down 7 pounds! I instantly fell in love and wanted to share my story and my new found passion for life with everyone I knew- so I became a Beachbody coach myself! :)


It has been the best decision I have ever made. I left my teaching job, and have been able to match my salary there in a little over 3 months. I ordered P90X3 when I signed up, and am officially in the best shape of my entire life! I have lost 8 inches on my body overall, and am in a pant size I haven't been in since I was 15 years old! The best part is, that I get to help others like YOU each and every day. I have reconnected with old friends, and made the most incredible new ones.

I now wake up at 6 am to workout and then drink my Shakeology for breakfast and my refuel, and prep all of my meals for the week! I check in with others to help them on their fitness journeys, which is my favorite part of the day!





I have since finished a round of 21 Day Fix, and have fallen in LOVE with that program is will! It scorched the last bit of stubborn fat I was trying to get rid of in my midsection with its 30 minute workouts and incredible container system meal plan!
